All children must register for the conference, regardless of age. Children 12 and under will be given a complimentary specially coded badge that identifies them as a child registrant to door monitors. This badge will entitle them to attend any event that their registered parent attends. Children 13 and over must register and pay the appropriate registration fees to attend.
There are no age-based restrictions at the Conference with the exception of the SIGGRAPH Exhibition. Registered attendees under 16 years of age may enter the SIGGRAPH Exhibition Halls only under one of the following circumstances: as "wearable" infants/toddlers (those being carried in a sling or backpack carrier) or as children that are part of an official SIGGRAPH guided tour event. Registered attendees that appear younger than 16 years of age will be asked to provide proof of age at admittance into the Exhibition Halls.
Unattended and lost children are to be taken to the Conference Management Office until Parents/Guardians can be located. Conference Management staff will notify SIGGRAPH security and instruct them to advise their staff with respect to the discovered child, as parents will probably approach Security personnel with inquiries.
Please be aware that parts of the Conference may contain adult content, graphic images, or violence.
