This paper presents the first realistic, physically based, real-time weather design tool for use in urban procedural modeling. The method merges design of urban models with controlled long-lasting spatiotemporal interactive simulations of weather.

This paper proposes a general framework for modeling "anticipatory" systems such as crowds, where interactions are strongly velocity-dependent, using an energy-based formulation and a novel optimization-based implicit-integration scheme. The approach provides, for the first time, guaranteed collision-free motion while simultaneously maintaining high-quality collective behavior.
