With this novel sketch-based freeform surface modeling method, the user sketches contour curves and sparse shape-bending lines, and interactively obtains a freeform surface whose curvature patterns follow the bending lines. The method enables modeling of diverse interesting shapes and complements existing sketch-based modeling tools.
