Birds of a Feather

Birds of a Feather are graphics-related, attendee-organized, informational discussions of shared interests, goals, technologies and/or backgrounds. Birds of a Feather sessions are:

  • Related to computer graphics or interactive techniques
  • Open to all registered SIGGRAPH 2017 attendees
  • Non-commercial in nature (topics specific to one commercial product or company are not allowed)
  • Free of recruitment, sales, product tutorials or company promotion
  • Free of charge

A room is set aside for Birds-of-a-Feather topics which pop-up during the conference. If you have a topic you would like to discuss, or continue a discussion from a session, Room 505 has a sign-up board to reserve the room. You may sign up for up to 2 hours.
